for those of you who believe that BIGOTRY IS NOT VERY CHRIST-LIKE
for those of you who want people to KEEP THEIR BIBLE OUT OF OUR CONSTITUTION

for those of you who want to know WHOSE RIGHTS ARE NEXT?

and of course for those of you who believe that GOD CREATED A RAINBOW SO THAT YOU COULD CATWALK TO HEAVEN ('cause that's got to be my favorite one!)

please step out and join the international Join the Impact Protest on Saturday Nov. 15th at your City Hall or check the website for locations where people are already organizing in your state.

we've all grown up hearing about the amazing people who spoke out, fought and sacrificed for human and civil rights. now we actually have a chance to join the collective voice of love, compassion and understanding. this isn't about homosexuality. it doesn't matter if you're gay, straight, trans-gender, bisexual, polyamorous, entirely asexual, or none of the above. stand up for yourself, stand up for someone you love, stand up for someone you'll never meet. maybe someday someone will need to stand up for you.

for the first time in my life i finally get to utter these words:

today i am proud of my country.


never thought that combination of words and letters would ever happen across my lips at the same time.
